• How long does it take to complete a custom piece?

  The completion time for a custom piece can vary depending on the complexity of the project. Our team will provide you with an estimated completion time during the design and planning phase.

• How can I price a work I have in my mind?

  Pricing is one of the hardest part of small business. It is especially true in a custom wood working business. Pricing a custom woodworking project can be a complex process, as it depends on a variety of factors such as the materials used, the complexity of the design, and the time required to complete the project. Here are some general steps to price a custom woodworking project:

  1. Determine the materials needed for the project and their costs. This will include the cost of the wood, any hardware or finishes required, and any specialized tools or equipment needed.

  2. Estimate the time required to complete the project. This will include time for design, preparation, construction, and finishing.

  3. Determine the hourly rate or the rate plan to charge for the project. This takes into account my experience, skill level, and overhead costs.

  4. Once an estimate for the materials and labor costs is determined, a markup or profit margin to arrive an estimate for the project.

  5. It’s also important to consider any additional services that may be needed like, transportation, installation etc.

• Can I visit the workshop?

  You can visit, as long as it is prearranged ahead of time, as I am not available all the time. 

• Can you do the design work for the CNC work?

  Yes, depending on the complexity of the project, CNC project design can be made in house.

• Can I get just Marquee letters and numbers back only?

  Yes, if you are DIY individual and like to get just the back panel only and do the rest of the assembly and paint job yourself. Otherwise, pricing options can be given in assembling the sides, patching and ready to paint and painted.
